Admissions Recruiter (Military)

This position is responsible for developing relationships with military high school guidance counselors, college transfer counselors, and military corporate/community organizations. The recruiter will generate inquiries from prospective students that convert to enrolled students.Administrative/Technical/Service * Coordinate military admissions-related activity to meet specific new student enrollment goals for the college programs. * Collaborate with the Associate Director in supervising the Campus Management staff, including recruiting and staff management aspect. * Collaborate with supervisors to attain military enrollment targets for each member of the Admissions team. * Responsible for creating strategic military recruitment plans and managing all aspects of military recruiting management. * Responsible for creating military exposure for the college and for working directly with managers and directors in Marketing and Recruitment * Provide systematic and regular reporting up of Military activities by the Admissions operation. * Act as the primary conduit of information between the Office of Admissions and program directors as it relates to Admissions. * Convert inquiries into applicants and then convert applicants into enrolled students * Collects information on inquiries for entry into the lead-management system, and tracks them through the stages of interview, application, admit, and enroll. * Organizes and implements events for guidance counselors and transfer counselors. * Through relationship building and outreach communication, achieves goal of getting guidance and transfer counselors to identify and recommend students who are a good fit for Mercy * Develops relationships with military high schools guidance counselors, college transfer counselors, and military corporate/community organizations in order to generate inquiries and attain college military recruitment goals. * Perform other duties/projects as assignedOrganizational/Managerial * Develops and implements initiatives to build the team, engage the department in the College community as a team member and build positive morale in the department * Manages time and other resources to meet established short and long term goals within the agreed upon time frames * Ensures clear, timely communications to others (both oral and written), particularly to those who will be affected by change.
