Job Description: Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for urgent care and family medicine. Mayo Clinic Health System Southwest Minnesota Region offers a full range of family care as well as more specialized health care services. We are seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our organization. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working closely with multi-specialty group members and communicates well with patients, colleagues and members of treatment teams. ? Urgent Care positions ? Family Medicine positions ? Integrated EMR throughout Mayo Clinic Health System ? Helicopter services from Mayo Clinic ? Southern Minnesota communities ranging in population size from 2,220 to 50,000 ? Excellent school systems ? Safe, friendly communities ? Year round outdoor recreational activities Basic Qualifications: : Masters prepared graduate of accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current RN license and certification, or eligible to be certified as a FNP, or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice, or eligible. Other Qualifications: : Current Minnesota registered nurse license. Certified or eligible to be certified as a nurse practitioner by a national certifying organization accepted by the Minnesota Board of Nursing or a current registration permit with the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice required. Basic Qualifications Current certification, or eligible to be certified as a FNP, or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice, or eligible. License or Certification: BLS certiciation and DEA registration required; ACLS and ATLS or CALS may be requred for certain locations.
