SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

This is a high exposure position that is client facing.  As the Sr. AE this candidate will be entirely accountable and responsible for supporting the Account Supervisor with the success of their respective projects.  The ideal Sr. AE candidate will have a strong marketing background as well as leadership qualifications.

 

  1. Reports to the Account Director
  2.  Under supervision of the Account Supervisor
  3. Manages the day-to-day client communications
    1. Overall responsible for internal communication of client projects and goals, coordination of inter-departments processes to ensure all deadlines are met and quality jobs delivered to client.
    2. Help arrange client meetings w/agenda’s, contact reports, etc
    3. Draft client communications designed to introduce agency POV, me
      dia plans, creative brief, etc.
    4. Accountable for development of  creative /project briefs: drafting, gaining client sign-off, briefing with department/team heads
    5. Manage outside vendors brought in for the projects
  4. Accountable for organizing client PL for Account Supervisor/Director
    1. Manage day-to-day pipeline of account activities (billing, payment collection, scheduling, reporting, etc)
  5. Achieve an understanding of  media planning / buying system and creative/production process in order to optimize marketing capabilities to the client
  6. Operational understanding of direct marketing, interactive marketing and other existing and newly emerging marketing disciplines
  7. Conduct competition analysis and follow industry trends
  8. Mentoring and teaching of any junior account staff

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years agency experience as an account manager

Multicultural (Hispanic or Asian) experience preferred

Strong understanding of client branding and strategic initiatives and the ability to communicate them internally

Must have leadership experience in order to produce consistently high quality work across disciplines to produce high client satisfaction

Must have strong account planning and strategy experience

Experience and ability managing complex campaigns

Expertise in online marketing

Experience managing client budgets, billing, timelines and other client fiscal management

Highly driven and highly motivated to drive the account

Strong research skills

Must have experience on a pharmaceutical account
