THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overall Objective: Serve as the in-house communications subject matter expert for a well known automotive dealership. This position is in charge of creating content over a broad range of mediums to include online, print and video communications to support the overall sales strategies. Responsible for the coordination of printing, production, social media and distribution of advertising. Must have smart business skills and the ability to negotiate a good price for the purchased advertising time. Previous experience in market research helpful.
Day to Day Duties:
Ø Responsible for the creation, design, layout, production of high quality graphic materials.
Ø Manage all aspects of planning, buying, implementing, and optimizing digital media campaigns including most or all of the following: online display, video, ad networks and advanced targeting techniques, rich media, mobile, social, as well as budget and billing coordination.
Ø Review, consider, and develop interactive media opportunities
Ø Negotiate, set-up, and purchase digital media for assigned campaigns
Ø Track and optimize campaigns to continuously improve results
Ø Maintain media budgets and billing for executed campaigns
Ø Assist in development of media recommendations, evaluations, POVs, and media analyses
Ø Manage digital invoicing to ensure receipt from vendors and timely processing for payment
Ø Become a master of online tools used to evaluate, set up, and facilitate ad serving for online campaigns
Ø Coordinate with Department Managers to determine asset needs/availability
Ø Ensure digital buys and tags are properly implemented
Ø Keep “up to date” by reading, investigating, and sharing new digital opportunities.
Required Skills
Ø Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred (Graphic Design, Communications, Advertising etc.)
Ø Two years of experience in communications to include web design/working with the design and layout of brochures, posters, advertising or other print materials.
Ø Formal design instruction and advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite Programs, PowerPoint, Dreamweaver and HTML.
Ø Working knowledge of MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Mac experience a plus.
Ø Familiarity with digital media tools such as: DoubleClick Mediavisor/DART, comScore, AdRelevance, TNS/Kantar, etc.
Ø Solid creative and critical thinking ability and effective communication skills
Ø Traditional offline media knowledge is a plus
Ø Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
Ø A portfolio of previous work samples will be required.
