Advertising Manager – Investment Products recruitment

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Overall responsibility to design conceptually distinctive and effective advertising campaigns to achieve the objectives of the overall marketing plan.
• Create the advertising plan.
• Develop all creative work.
• Manage the production of all advertising, including rotation plans and the supply of all materials.
• Responsible for checking all material, including proof-reading.
• Develop media plans and manage partner media agencies, both as part of the annual plan and in response to individual campaign briefs.
• Manage relationship with trade media buyer and with publishers to deliver on plans and to create value.
• Assist in managing the appointment and performance of suppliers, creative and media, covering quality, timeliness and value, including a formal bi-annual review.
• Ensure that the brand values are reflected in all advertising campaigns, and that they adhere to brand guidelines.
• Work with the digital manager to align print advertising with online advertising.
• Managing budgets, measuring performance and delivering tangible return on investment.
• Liaise with Research to set up and implement processes with to continually monitor the effectiveness of all advertising campaigns.
• Identification of new trends and ideas in advertising that can be exploited and introduced to advance the delivery of the marketing plan.
• Own the relationship for global legal and compliance sign-off of all advertising.
• Develop and maintain self-service supplier relationship templates and system.
 

To successfully secure this role you will need to be able to demonstrate:

• Experience of managing advertising creative development, media planning and buying and campaign fulfilment in a financial services environment.
• Multiple project management skills
• Strong client management skills with a demonstrated ability to take a brief and execute
• Proven track record of delivering high quality work within a demanding environment
• Detail conscious, ensuring reliability at all times and committed to producing high quality and professional work in a team environment
• Line management experience: people manager, accessible and good at relationship building
• Relevant experience in copywriting
• Technical knowledge of advertising design and production
• In depth knowledge of, and curiosity in relation to, products and services in the global financial markets
• Strong personal communication skills including good oral and writing skills in English
• Good PC skills
