Advertising & Marketing Consultant Job in Aurora, Colorado Us

Responsible for providing complex advertising marketing consultation, communications planning, implementation of recommended marketing solutions for Kaiser Permanente business lines as assigned. Management of programs projects (targeting prospective members employers groups) to meet organizational brand sales goals. The Advertising Marketing Consultant reports to the regional Advertising Marketing Manager joins the team providing support to the regions sales teams.

Essential Functions:
- Develop implement marketing/communications plans tactics to fulfill the strategic operational goals objectives of the Colorado region supported business lines, promote protect the organization's brand reputation
- Provide communications consulting to internal clients on internal external communications
- Consulting activity will vary from verbal communications or advice on communications issues to providing customized communications materials
- Strategizes w/ client, writes creative briefs, researches analyzes information, plans logistics manages overall coordination
- Ensure content is consistent w/ the KP brand in terms of tone, manner messaging
- Manages completes multiple assignments in short time frames coordinates diverse projects activities into a cohesive strategic program
- Acquire the input resources of other communications staff in the organization to fulfill the objectives of communication plans projects in coordination w/ business line leaders
- Coordinates the deliverables of other communicators in the organization to ensure that special projects are in compliance w/ negotiated timelines/financial allocations
Implement measures to determine effectiveness of communications programs create plans to improve results
- In addition to defined technical requirements, accountable for consistently demonstrating service behaviors principles defined by the KP Service Quality Credo, the KP Mission as well as specific departmental/organizational initiatives
- Also accountable for consistently demonstrating the knowledge, skills, abilities behaviors necessary to provide superior culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members to purchasers, contracted providers vendors

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate communications or advertising marketing environment
- Recent experience in planning implementing complex marketing/communications plans projects for a large complex organization
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, English or Business Administration or related field or related experience required
- Thorough knowledge of policies, practices systems
- Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques standards
- Considered functional expert in field within KP
- Frequently contributes to the development of new theories methods
- Employs expertise as a generalist or specialist
- Excellent writing editing skills
- Demonstrated excellence in working effectively w/ senior leaders managers in large organizations influencing their approach to communications
- Demonstrated excellence in working collaboratively in a team setting

Preferred Qualifications:
- Health care background, w/ track record of increasing responsibility preferred
- Master's degree preferred
- Web marketing, social media, database marketing, direct marketing, etc. preferred

Salary Range $ 29.05-$37.06 hourly

**This is a temporary position without benefits expected to last 12 months**
