Advertising Sales Marketing
We are looking for an independent thinking, ambitious, entrepreneurial individual for our advertising sales and marketing position. Your primary function would be developing relationships with existing and new clients who can benefit from our advertising and marketing packages.

Learn and develop your knowledge and skills on the job, working independently within a very supportive environment of managers who will train you, give evaluations, and offer advice as needed on both a team and individual basis.
Our sales process is consultative (using phone, email, fax, mail) -- each outreach is to be a thoughtful conversation, not a canned speech. We encourage you to research your potential clients and their industry and also provide ongoing training to give you the tools and knowledge you'll need to talk with them.
All Advertising Sales/Marketing Staff Participate In the Following:
- Client Research
- Creative and personalized sales by phone, in person (travel is encouraged by not required) via email, mail, etc.
- Ongoing marketing advisement for our current advertisers
- Coordinating and developing print and online articles, blogs, advertiser profiles, event postings, and more
- Management and coordination of distribution
- Social media marketing of our websites, guides and advertisers
About Us: Spindle Publishing Company, Inc. has been in business for over 30 years in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, producing lifestyle/resource guides websites for specific demographics going through major life transitions. The company is comprised of about 25 people. Our local, national, and international publications include the following:
Our compensation package includes base salary plus commission/bonuses, as well as medical benefits. Performers advance quickly.
Our offices are located in the Bourse Building Complex, which is situated in a private, suburban business complex in the Greentree/Scott Twp. area. We are also right up the road from a variety of gyms, restaurants and shopping areas.
We prefer to hire someone with at least 1-2 years of related work experience. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Study abroad or international travel experience is also a plus. Please email or send resume and cover letter to:
