Specialty Publishing Co. (SPC), publisher of two national leading-edge business and consumer magazines and home of The Peggy Smedley Radio Show, is a fast-paced, high-energy company located in the western suburbs of Chicago.
SPC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, inside sales employee with a positive attitude that can multi-task and is willing to learn what it takes to sell in the publishing industry. Applicant must be able to calculate figures such as discounts, commissions, and percentages; cold-call and develop new business; establish and maintain customer contacts; and identify new ideas to increase business.
Strong written and verbal presentation skills are required and the ability to think outside the box is mandatory. Radio show sales experience a plus.
