Advisor Analytic Consulting Services (Health Plans)

This position supports the Blue Cross Blue Shield account services team and internal analytical consulting services team during the sales process by supporting a book of business, mentoring, analyzing prescription benefit data and providing recommendations to achieve client goals. A successful candidate in this position will already possess or will acquire and maintain an expert knowledge of the healthcare markteplace, PBM industry, CVS Caremark data warehouse(s) and CVS Caremark programs, services and sales goals. This successful candidate will be able to provide specific examples of mentoring and influencing others while supporting client's needs. The successful candidate will have a track record of demonstrating the skill sets necessary to develop a deep understanding of client?s business and goals in order to best fit our products and services with their strategy. He or she will also demonstrate a high level of consistency expertise in using logic and analytic skills to perform client analyses in response to specific business questions and be able to communicate the findings, including methodology and estimated outcomes. Responsibilities: ?Expert ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets ?Communicate complex analytic findings in an easy-to-understand way ?Utilize forecasting techniques to estimate the impact of benefit design changes ?Provide insight and information using industry and technical knowledge to elicit client action ?Respond to client business needs through ad-hoc analytics ?Creative thinking to develop industry-leading solutions to respond to changing healthcare landscape ?Appropriate prioritization of client requests to ensure focus on high-impact activities ?Ability to create original tools/models or modify existing tools/models to resolve complex client problems ?Act as a mentor or coach to newer or less experienced analytic consultants ?Ability to work independently a high percentage of the time in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines ?Effectively leverage team resources to support assigned sales book of business ?Occasional on-site travel to participate in client meetings ?Potential for heavy client facing responsibilities including presentations individually or part of a team, finalist meetings, conference calls and written documents in support of his or her book of business ?Takes on projects in support of segment with occasional enterprise impact as assigned by leader
