Advisor Application Architect
The Applications Architect provides design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy. Uses a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers. Provides expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business. Determines and develops complex and business critical software solutions either individually or in concert with project team. Will assist in the most difficult support problems. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: ? Provide design recommendations based on long-term IT strategy. Develop enterprise-level application and custom integration solutions, including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features. ? Use a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to clients. ? Provide expertise regarding integration of applications across the business; determine, plan, design and develop most complex and business critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes- individually or with project team. ? Assist in resolving support and maintenance problems. ? Develop programming and development standards and procedures, as well as programming architectures for code reuse; understand and apply attributes and processes of current application development methodologies. Research and maintain knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the business (Also Enterprise Architects). ? Act as internal technical expert and critical technical resource across multiple disciplines. Acts as internal advisor, advocate and change agent.
