Function: Finance Centers of Expertise Family: Financial Systems What Financial Systems contributes to Cardinal Health Financial Systems is responsible for overseeing the design implementation, modification, installation and maintenance of accounting and finance systems to ensure the accurate recognition of financial transactions. Insures data integrity, manages system interfaces, completes the chart of accounts, maintains access/controls, owns the financial data warehouse application and creates report building mechanisms and interfaces with IT. Revise controls for new or modified computer applications to prevent inaccurate information. Oversight and project ownership of financial systems, including FSP. What is expected of you for success in your role Demonstrates advanced knowledge of finance operations and enabling technology configuration Analyzes and designs basic functional process improvements Utilizes technology to automate financial processes Supports the implementation of finance systems with in-depth customer service, internal control, data governance and project management skills. Proactively develops and maintains technical knowledge in specialized area(s), remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices; Accountabilities in this role - Providing BI and Business Object report development, testing, and training for our end-user community. - Provides month end close support - Provides end-user direction on SAP best practices as it relates to master data setup and software functionality optimization - Responsible for Clarify case research Qualifications ? BS/BA in Finance or Accounting or a related field ? Minimum of 3 years job-related experience ? Strong proficiency in SAP. ?
