Advisor Responsible Investment recruitment

Your function
You will be working in the Responsible Investment department. You will investigate the strategic and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)  aspects of companies in the sectors that are your responsibility. You keep up with global  developments, especially in your sectors. You will build a network of contacts with companies, brokers and other external data suppliers in order to keep your knowledge up-to-date. This will enable you to analyse and document facts concerning individual companies efficiently and effectively. Your analytical skills and judgement allow you to identify the key issues within your sectors. Your succinct analyses and reports will form the basis of our dialogue with companies. You will work closely with the engagers in the team to determine the most effective engagement approach to individual companies. You will also work on the further development of activities in the area of responsible investment, particularly regarding the integration of ESG aspects in the investment processes. 
 
Your department
A team of enthusiastic and inspired professionals works in the Responsible Investment department. Within PGGM, we are responsible  for the development and execution of the Responsible Investment policy, co-operating closely on this with investors and other departments within PGGM. We also collaborate intensively with other, mostly international, institutional investors. PGGM is acknowledged globally as a leader in the field of responsible investment, and we aim to continue to further develop our activities in this area. .

Your profile
- Completed university education – Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience, e.g. as (ESG) analyst – Thorough knowledge of one or more sectors with significant  ESG risks is required – Affinity with and preferably experience in both investment and ESG issues – You have strong analytical skills and your judgement is well developed – You enjoy working in a team – Result driven, motivated and a self starter – Curious and creative - Networker – Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
