Advisory Services Manager - Performance Improvement (PI) - Enterprise Intelligence (EI) - Risk Performance Analytics (RPA), Ernst Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY. Manage client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services, and manage business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts. Use Analytics to deliver business insight, help monitor high and emerging risks and solve complex business problems. Help clients improve operational efficiency and security, while also reducing costs and managing risk. Help clients by delivering assessment, transformation and process efficiency solutions in specialty areas like finance, supply chain, customer, enterprise intelligence, enabling technologies, CIO services, people and organization change, strategic direction, and program management. Foster relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently deliver quality client services. Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage expectations of client service delivery. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. Cultivate and manage business development opportunities. Understand Ernst Young and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs. Demonstrate deep in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge. Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.

To qualify, candidates must have the following:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Business, plus 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience; OR a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Business, plus 4 years of related work experience
  • Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience using analytics to solve business problems and monitor risks with a strong understanding of business processes and the application of analytic technologies to deliver value to the business
  • Must have experience with ETL processes and objectives and proficiency in any of the following analytics tools; ACL, Tableau, Spotfire, Microsoft SQL Server, SPSS, SAS, Business Objects, Cognos, Informatica, Trillium, Data Stage
  • Must have demonstrated experience leading complex analytics engagements
  • Must have analytics engagement leadership experience including: managing staff, providing regular status updates, and monitoring project economics
  • Must have experience providing hands on technical expertise as well as manage client relationships within the context of the role
  • Must have proven ability to manage a team of junior consulting professionals
  • Must have a willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is approximately 80%
