Affiliate Employee Service - Retirement Specialist Job

The US Affiliate Employee Services (AES) Team will partner with GE Affiliates on stand-alone employee services platform to provide benefits pay expertise to ensure compliance and cost effective delivery. AES will provide supplier management, compliance oversight and cost optimization opportunities to the affiliates; as well as integrate affiliates with core US Employee Services processes in areas such as Payroll, Health and Welfare and Retirement Plan Delivery. Essential Responsibilities This affiliate support role will be responsible for partnering with various GE affiliate businesses and affiliate sites to prioritize needs and support Retirement and 401K delivery. Responsibilities will include: Coordination of Annual Filings Ongoing Data requests: 5500, 4010, PBGC Filings, SARs, Non-Discrimination Testing, Funding Notices, QDIA Support and Delivery of plan design changes Ongoing supplier oversight and/or support to tranisiton or add new suppliers Development of Process Documentation and identification and implementation of process improvements Coordination of Affiliate Annual Audits; facilitating auditor s needs with sites Support of Tactical Funding Process for DB Plans Coordination of Plan Documents, Summary Plan Descriptions, Amendments Resolutions Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelors degree or minimum of five years equivalent work experience in Retirement (pension/401K) Benefit Delivery * Ability to manage multiple priorities * Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment * Strong organizational skills * Strong analytical skills and ability to support audit process * Detailed oriented * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Conflict resolution and facilitation skills * Ability to work with all GE levels and suppliers organizations * Ability to participate on cross functional process improvement teams to drive operational efficiencies * Project experience. Development and execution of project plans; demonstrated ability to drive results * Ability to travel 10% * Position open to either GBS office locations in Schenectady, NY or Ft. Myers, FL * Must be willing to submit to a drug test and background investigation and pass successfully * Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
