Affiliate Marketing Associate Job in Mountain View 94043, California US
Coupons.com is seeking an Affiliate Marketing Associate who is knowledgeable in navigating the various affiliate networks, building retailer relationships, and synthesizing transactional data into optimization ideas and tactics.
Position Responsibilities:
- Establish, maintain, and develop strong relationships with retailers and affiliate networks
- Track, analyze and report on performance by category and retailers.
- Identify retailers and categories with revenue optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with content managers and marketing team to capture revenue opportunities.
- Negotiate higher commissions, customized landing pages, exclusive content, and paid placements.
- Contribute to editorial calendar, marketing campaigns, and product roadmap.
Position Qualifications
- Excited about online coupons and how Coupons.com can help advertisers grow their businesses.
- Creative, resourceful, and persistent. The idea candidate should be able to help advertisers come up with creative campaign ideas, figure out how to get the buy-in from key stakeholders, and won’t be satisfied until the campaign is live.
- Experienced in affiliate marketing either as an account manager, advertiser, or publisher. Prior experience in sales or client management a plus.
- Well-versed in multiple online shopping verticals. The ideal candidate should be able to compare and contrast the payouts of footwear retailers and easily switch to phone accessory retailers.
- Ability to shift through large amounts of data to identify top opportunities to increase revenue.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills. You should be able to just as easily win new retailer business at an affiliate conference as you are able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate your ideas and accomplish your goals.
- BA or equivalent work experience.
- Technical background in data feeds and aggregator networks a huge plus.
