SAP Job Code s : 93011 - 70000988 Effective Date: Business Unit: Agency Establishment Support Department Purpose of Job: Candidate Advocate delivers and effectively supports the success of new appointees (Exclusive Agent Exclusive Financial Specialist) through the execution of all new agent appointment and establishment services. Also supports other agency transactions such as the Outside Buyer process, Satellite establishment and book of business sales/mergers . Job Characteristics: Relationship Management Builds and maintains relationship with internal clients and partners: § Coordinates the quality implementation of new agency establishment processes, both start-up and outside buyer, which includes ensuring that agent offices are ready and fully operational on opening day § Partners with regional resources and sales leadership to coordinate agency establishment including office set-up, establishment education, and makes recommendations on business plan, cash flow and marketing processes § Coordinates the quality implementation of satellite establishment and facilitates agent book of business sales and mergers § Builds and maintains a collaborative working relationship across all sales functional areas (Sales Support Department and Sales Leadership) and proactively shares information to ensure a common vision and partnership in support of agency growth Administration Performs administrative functions and utilizes technology to achieve maximum performance effectiveness: § Tracks, follow-up and communicates candidate status § Acts as a liaison with candidates for the completion of documentation necessary to execute the selection and appointment process § Creates, completes, and maintains agent appointment file to support field sales leadership with the appointment approval process § Utilizes technology resources to provide timely and accurate reports on the progress of candidates in the establishment process · · Development § Educates, trains and develops external and internal clients and partners: § Takes personal responsibility for ongoing growth and professional development by identifying and acting on appropriate training and development opportunities § Leverages opportunities to apply knowledge learned on the job and to share such knowledge/best practices among peers § Experience using Allstate technology and Microsoft Office products § Knowledge of sales organization, processes and back office support, including agent recruiting and establishment § Knowledge of agent contract types, Agency Standards, and other Allstate policies and procedures Level Factors: (Do not make any changes to the level factors. They are the same for each band across the company) Experience, Knowledge, Formal Training : General Knowledge of business area's processes including best practices in order to support the area's projects, products and services Analytical/Technical Skills : Application of standardized mathematical concepts to solve problems and prepare reports for analysis. Ability to leverage technical skills, in support of team objectives. Communication Skills : Effective communication in working with others in everyday situations. Requires ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers Job complexity : Concentrates on basic, semi-routine problems requiring an established approach for resolution. Decision Making : Responsible for quality and quantity of sound decisions around processes and issues within the scope of day-to-day responsibility. Supports the implementation of strategic team objectives. Contacts : Contacts are with unit members, immediate managers, the public, vendors and, agencies. Obtains facts and explains routine info. Scope and Impact : Achievement of results is limited to impact of some of the unit objectives. Management Guidance Received : Given multiple work assignments with work being routinely checked for accuracy . Considerable management guidance provided.
