Agent Trading Client Onboarding Analyst
My client a high profile Investment Bank is currently looking for an analyst to join their Trading Onboarding Team.
The Agent Trading Onboarding Analyst is responsible for being the central point of contact for the client and business for Investment Manager Account onboarding. The Agent Trading Analyst will ensure that they manage the progress of requests within their portfolio and ensure smooth onboarding throughout the process. The Incumbent must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work assignments, communicate effectively with internal staff and clients, and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner. Follow-through skills and time management are critical elements of this position.
Main Function
- Central Point of Contact for Client Onboarding for Business and Clients.
- Develop client relationships throughout the onboarding process by providing clients with a “One-Stop” shop service model.
- Prioritize requests with guidance from the Agent Trading Relationship Managers and Business Leads (CIT/COO’s).
- Utilize internal systems for workflow management and data storage.
- Respond to queries regarding the status of specific requests.
- Monitor the status of requests against agreed performance thresholds and escalate requests that have exceeded agreed cycle time thresholds.
- Undertake credit diligence, working closely with credit sanctioners and understand credit requirements and terms.
- Facilitate the legal documentation process to completion across asset class.
- Build strong working relationships and liaise with internal and external dependents including Clients, Sales, Trading, Credit, Legal and Operations.
- Facilitate account maintenance, Change requests, deletion and mothballing as directed by the Client or internal stakeholders.
Main Duties
- General understanding of Securities Financing – Stock Lending and/or Repurchase transactions.
- Basic experience in Agent Lending structuring – including Bilateral, Triparty, Omnibus and undisclosed trading.
- Previous roles undertaken in Equities or Fixed Income Operations/Middle Office preferred but not essential.
- Strong analytical skills and detail orientated.
- Strong ability to multi-task.
- Sound communication skills.
- General understanding of the E2E on boarding process.
- Ability to communicate and build strong relationships with Clients, Infrastructure and Front Office stakeholders.
- Be an effective and articulate communicator via e-mail and telephone especially important when communicating requirements and managing Client / Business expectations.
- Organizational Skills - able to manage multiple activities effectively.
- A “can do” attitude – willingness to accept challenges and work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to identify and appropriately escalate issues and risks.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Be self motivated and highly driven individual.
