AGM – Credit Risk Officer recruitment
Sitting within Risk Management, this role is responsible for controlling and managing the day to day revision and evaluation of all types of risk involved in different business portfolios of the Bank including Credit and Financial risk. A key component of the role will be to recommend and implement procedures to monitor compliance with policy. Key responsibilities include:
- review credit proposals / requests to access the underlying credit risks.
- coordinate with department supervisors periodic reviews of completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
- oversee the implementation of new procedures and / or changes to exisiting procedures for tasks completed within the operations unit to enhance and streamline work efficiencies and reduce expenses.
- oversee maintenance and updates to the credit risk manual to ensure contents are accurate, current and in compliance with management guidelines.
- participate in the formulation of the corporate credit policy, procedures and controls.
- oversee credit administration and periodic MIS reports to management.
Skills / experience required:
- Bachelors degree in either Finance or Accounting
- CFA / CPA / MBA is highly advantageous
- 10 years + corporate banking experience
- Strong experience in the field of Corporate Credit risk.
