Agricultural Formulator - rotating shift

JOB TITLE: Formulator POSITION SUMMARY: Kelly Scientific Resources is seeking some hardworking, reliable individuals who will be responsible for batching, mixing, and handling of agricultural fertilizers. Must have strong attention to detail, ability to focus, and operate independently. All chemicals at this facility are nonhazardous, but safety is always the highest priority. This position involves a significant amount of manual labor. RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES: · Comply with all plant policies and safety procedures. · Assist in the formulation of each batch of product. · Maintain accurate inventory logs. · Assist with the loading of raw materials into storage containers. · Assist in receiving bulk tankers for processing. Must be willing to work a fluctuating schedule depending on workload QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent with strong applicable work history. Must be able to wear a respirator while working. Solid math skills. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Valid driver?s license. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. frequently during entire shift. Must be able to handle large drums of chemicals occasionally during shift. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. SHIFT DETAILS: Formulators work from Monday ? Friday, rotating between the shifts below every two weeks. 3:00am ? 2:30pm 6:00am ? 7:00pm This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity where a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, vacation, and 401(k) matching will be made available upon becoming a full-time employee.
