Job Description Project Manager/Supervisor - Air Services, Air Quality Job Description: The Raleigh North Carolina Office seeks to fill a growth oriented position with a candidate possessing project management, business development, and technical skills in the environmental air quality practice area. This person will work in collaboration with AECOMrsquo;s Global/Regional Key Account program, the strong existing South Region Air Quality practice, and the nationally known corporate Air Quality practice. The candidate will have the opportunity to become involved with multi-disciplinary project teams and contribute as a core team member in the Raleigh, NC Office. The successful candidate is expected to be a Project Manager that has well rounded technical expertise in multiple facets of air services including: Air quality permitting (PSD/NSR, Title V, minor source) throughout the Southeast; Air modeling procedures and software including AERMOD and CALPUFF; Air emission inventory preparation (i.e., annual emission statements, GHGs); Air regulatory evaluations and compliance determinations of MACT, NSPS, and state regulations; Air pollution control feasibility analyses (BACT/LAER); and Community right-to-know reporting (Tier II, TRI). Duties: Expected to market, manage, and complete technical work for both North Carolina and Southeastern clients, in addition to projects with the National Air Quality practice. Ensure that standards and requirements are met in the areas of health and safety, budget and cost control, overall project financial performance and quality. Make decisions concerning approved expenditures to meet project budget and maximizing project margin. Enhance and augment professional standing and company business development success by presenting technical papers at industry and professional meetings and conferences. Position Requirements: Bachelors or advanced engineering degree, or relevant technical discipline Professional Engineering license (North Carolina PE Preferred) 10+ years of experience specializing in air quality and providing technical support relative to the position (air quality permitting/compliance, environmental auditing) Experience should include operating in a seller/doer client project or program management position, a significant portion being within a consulting organization, industry environmental position and/or the electrical power sector. Detailed working knowledge of air permitting and compliance requirements for industrial sector and power sector clients Extensive experience developing and implementing air modeling projects including experience with the following software and programs: AERMOD and CALPUFF Demonstrated success working on multi-discipline proposal and project teams.
