Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is an integral part of the Boeing global organisation, employing approximately 1200 people at 13 sites around the country, primarily in support of high technology aerospace and communications systems for the Department of Defence.
We are currently seeking suitably qualified candidates for an “Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Armament” to work in our Integrated Logistics division based at RAAF base Amberley. As the position holder you will be responsible for the following:

Incorporates ASH Armament systems servicing requirements.

Undertakes AME Armament Trade activities in support of modification, maintenance, manufacture and/or assembly activities for the ASH aircraft and aircraft component maintenance.
To be successful in this role, you will have met the following criteria:
Essential Criteria
-
Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics or Mechanical) or equivalent trade qualifications

Demonstrate the ability to work in a team
-
Ability to successfully interact with co-workers, maintaining productive working relationships to meet team, business unit and organisational goals

Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Occupational Heath and Safety procedures
-
Able to speak, read and write fluent English
-
Sound knowledge of aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance, modification and planning documentation.
-
Must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Defence Security clearance.
Desirable Criteria
-
Completed Australian defence Force Explosive Ordnance course
-
Experience in the use of Boeing business tools i.e BBMS, Ematrix, BINs, ERP
-
Have a working knowledge of computer-based maintenance management systems
-
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Desktops applications
-
Well developed MS Office skills.
