Aircraft Stress/Structures Engineers Job

We have multiple openings for experienced Aircraft structures and stress engineers. Our clients are engine manufacturers, air frame manufacturers, as well as aircraft modification Centers.

These jobs vary in location from the Dallas Texas area, to Wichita, KS, to Little Rock, AR, to Connecticut.

THESE ARE GREAT CAREER OPPORTUNITIES---With very stable companies that are in the aircraft business for the long haul. All of these jobs have greatbenefits and include a very good relocation package.

Structures engineers play a key role in an integrated product team and will contribute to the overall design, analysis, testing, fabrication, and validation of new designs. Structures engineers analyze and propose designs and features that meet the requirements for the compression system, and then evaluate the designs against success criteria through bench, rig and full engine testing. Applicants are required to be knowledgeable in finite element analysis and current state of the art FEA software, possess a solid understanding of the basic principals of structural mechanics, and must have the ability to coach and direct less experienced engineers. Individuals are needed who can step in immediately to make a positive impact or even lead teams, in a focused fashion, to achieve challenging program goals. Experience in the Aerospace industry analyzing gas turbine engine hardware, or in other turbo machinery fields is a plus.

Typical duties include: providing analytical support from preliminary design phase through detailed design, development, certification, and manufacturing; performing state-of-the-art finite element analysis for stress, vibration, impact, mission fatigue life prediction and optimization; stress testing and data reduction in laboratory and field environments; production and in-service field investigations; participating on integrated product teams to provide design solutions to balance performance, cost, and weight requirements; coordinating with others in advancing technology and process improvements; and documenting and presenting results to management and customers. Significant interaction with internal and external customers is expected.
