Description
The job holder is responsible for supporting business requirements analysis and functional specifications documentation for complex strategic programs. S/He participates in the definition of program scope and objectives for a key functional area across all business, operations, and technology stakeholders by working with the business team clients and technology business partners as appropriate to understand, design and implement business processes in a specific business domain. S/He has an acumen for the sophisticated global capital markets industry; including securities processing, custody, alternative investments (hedge funds/derivatives), clearance, accounting, cash processing, reporting and/or brokerage areas. S/He can assist these functions for large-scale mission-critical projects with guidance. S/He works across multiple internal business and technology groups on strategic programs, and will participate in strategy/planning and scope definition through to process design, requirements development, testing, training and implementing of the solution. S/He demonstrates an understanding of end-to-end operation flows. Job holder should use exposure to best-in-class methods, tools and techniques for elicitation and documentation of internal and external client needs and associated requirements in conducting job duties. This includes use of case modeling, business process modeling, and formal requirements traceability techniques using tools. S/He will assist in more complex as well as conduct simpler analysis of client requirements, understanding of issues and risks, identify factors of potential roadblocks and escalate as applicable. S/He will provide support in producing detail-level functional or operational requirement documentation. The job holder will leverage his/her industry domain experience to assist in challenging and prioritizing the business and client requirements. In addition to the functions above, this individual may participate in testing QC and/or UAT test planning. As a liaison between business accounting, clients, users and business systems and technology partners, the job holder has a critical impact on service delivery and risk mitigation, and therefore on the success of the business. Job holder should have been exposed to best-in-class methods, tools and techniques for elicitation and documentation of internal and external client needs and associated requirements. This includes use case modeling, business process modeling, and formal requirements traceability techniques using tools. S/He must be able to analyze client requirements, understand issues and risks, identify potential roadblocks and escalate as applicable. Qualifications
College Degree. MBA preferred. 5+ years related experience including experience in related business/systems testing and modeling and knowledge of systems . 7+ Years related experience including at least 2 yrs in alternative investment accounting, business applications testing, analysis and modeling with good knowledge of business systems preferred. Understanding of Technology, Science, Math, Accounting with analytic and user documentation ability.
