Description

The AIS Client Service Rep II has a senior responsibility for maintaining the excellent BNY Mellon AIS Client Service standards and reference ability for some of the largest and most complex clients in the region. Responsible for client service and/or new business on-boarding. Serves as Client Service Officer and single point of contact for service delivery for mid-tier clients unless dedicated to a new business on-boarding team. Provide world class client service; suggest and follow through on creative solutions to enhance service delivery for the client. Proactively anticipate and control issues that may arise. Liaise with service delivery to resolve daily service delivery issues for assigned clients across all functions. Ensure compliance with internal policy, external control, and client service standard requirements. Ensure that AIS Client Services management and functional teams are aware of any lapses in quality service and that action is taken to fix the problem. Serve as an escalation point and subject matter expert for more junior staff. Ensure adequate procedures and controls are in place for assigned clients and that weaknesses or gaps are minimized. Assist Senior Client Service Officers with Tier 1 client responsibilities as required. Assist sales and relationship managers effectively in order to support overall BNY Mellon service.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree. MBA preferred. 6+ years relevant experience in securities servicing, including 3 years experience in a role requiring regular client interaction with good knowledge of alternative investment products, systems, and regulatory environment. 8+ years relevant experience, including 5 years experience in a role requiring regular client interaction and at least 3+ years experience with BNY Mellon alternative investment products, systems, and the regulatory environment preferred. Strong problem-solving, verbal and written communications skills. Demonstrate a strong customer focus, ability to deliver client presentations, and engage in negotiations. Ability to multitask.
