Description
AIS Operations is made up of a number of hedge fund and private equity servicing functional areas such as Trade Execution, Trade Capture, Custody, Middle Office, Reconciliation, Billing, etc.
Researches and resolves moderately complex operational, systems-related, and/or customer issues regarding trade execution.
Responsibilities
* Assists with the maintenance of documentation of process flows, administrative summaries, and standard operating procedures.
* Coordinates small internal and external client project work.
* Performs quality reviews of work processed by other team members and may provide training and support to junior staff. Provides operational support to various cross-functional teams.
* Must be able to manage the trade flow from the client to the underlying target fund to close out each trade completely.
Service Delivery:

Strategic Planning:
Participates in the planning and execution of strategic product and service delivery enhancements and client implementation and plan redesign work.
Project Management:
Participates in small internal and external client project work.
Qualifications
Requirements
* The position is an second-level operational position - requires a working knowledge of the basics of the alternatives industry and of the different areas within service delivery.
* The individual should aggressively look to grow their knowledge and expertise regarding AIS/BNYM and the industry.
* The position requires problem solving skills necessary to solve various operational issues that arise on a daily basis that affect our clients and their accounts.
* The position requires an individual to provide service delivery to both our internal and external clients that is both accurate and efficient. Failure can result in significant expense, lost revenue and reputational risk
* The position requires engagement with a cross section of the AIS Service Delivery teams, including management (locally and possibly in global locations) as well as with business partners and clients.
* College/Third Level Degree preferred
* 2 - 4 years relevant experience
