AIS Tax Manager, Off recruitment
Regular/Temporary: Regular
-Responsible for reviewing the work of the tax staff accountants and for ensuring that all relevant policies and controls are adhered to on a monthly basis
•Day to day responsibility for client relationships and work review
•Will review and sign-off on all tax allocations and periodic tax estimates
•Will report to the Director of Tax and participate in management decisions and ensure that the team is resourced to service all clients
•Participate in developing and delivering of in-house training seminars/classes to NAV, TA, and Tax groups
Interacts with Managers at Audit Firms. Individual has considerable technical knowledge of the hedge fund industry. Individuals have several external contacts within client organizations. Individual typically manages a staff of 4.
Skills
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Excellent excel skills
Superior communication skills
5+ years investment partnership tax experience
Investment product knowledge
Previous supervisory experience
