AIX Specialist

Our client is a globally known leader in its field and is widely known as an employer of choice.
Currently they are expanding their team and we are partnered with them to recruit for a few roles, one of them is a AIX Specialist with experience in virtualisation.
In this role you will be an individual contributor in the project providing AIX Systems Administration. You will also provide technical leadership on projects and provide technical assistance to the other team members.
Technical Skills required are:
- Experience in virtualisation products
- AIX administration experience
- Knowledge of TCP/IP
- Knowledge of kernels and device drivers
- Understanding of System Security
They are also looking for skills such as
• Vendor relationship management and engaging Vendor services
• Technical leadership
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
If you are successful in this role you will have an opportunity to work on emerging technologies alongside the best engineers in the industry. This role is offered as a 12 month contract at excellent contract rates. There are potential extensions to the contract in the future.
