JOB DESCRIPTION
Large IT Corporation is in need of a (AIX/Linux System Administrator with VIO) - (URGENT NEED)
Location: Raleigh/Durham, NC
Description of Position:
The first is for 3 experienced AIX/VIO consultants. The position is short/medium term, possibly 6 months for now. The preference is onsite work at our Research Triangle Park, NC location.
VIO Skills Required!
In-depth knowledge of AIX and Redhat Linux systems with 8+ years of experience in System administrator and 5+ years’ experience administering AIX and Redhat Linux systems. Strong virtualization knowledge using AIX 5.3 or higher, including experience with installation and configuration of VIO. ESXi/VMWare skill a plus. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. In-depth hardware build and configuration knowledge. Shell programming knowledge. Network experience including DMZ environments. Strong troubleshooting skills. Good written and verbal communications skills. Ability to communicate technical issues with non-technical people.
