Algo Trading Application Support/Client Onboarding
Responsibilities:
· Work together with algo team both in Hong Kong and Shanghai
· Visit external clients for algo system setup, training and support
· Perform QA testing on the new release of Algo to ensure high-quality delivery
· Deploy/upgrade Algo system independently
· Provide second level technical support to all algo-related issues
· Assist project manager in gathering algo-related requirements from users and tracing them until they are implemented by Vendor
Requirements:
· University Degree in Computer Science or related majors
· Have minimum 3 years’ experience working in IT in financial/investment banks
· Have programming background in one of the following languages, C++, Java, or C#.
· Have working experience in Linux/Unix-like platform and have strong skill in Unix/Perl scripting
· Familiar with mainstream database, like Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase etc
· Applicants with application development or support experience in equities brokerage business will have definite competitive advantage for this role.
· Knowledge with FIX protocol is highly desired.
· Experience or knowledge of China A-shares trading is highly preferred
· Good communication skill in both Chinese and English
