The individual in this role will collaborate extensively with team members in Chicago, contribute towards improving existing European strategies and provide some day to day support for the team. The successful candidate will be extremely motivated to learn about the algorithmic trading environment from experienced traders and grow their career.
Required Experience:
- Programming skills in C++ in a Linux environment
- Experience developing statistical models in a trading environment
- Familiarity with R, Matlab or S a plus
- Experience in a trade support role or industry preferred
- Experience working with large datasets of historical price data
- Ability to collaborate intensively with other team members
- Excellent communication skills
- PhD in Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math or Economics a plus
