We are now seeking qualified Machine Operators and Forklift Operators for an immediate need on multiple shifts for positions with Kelly Services for a premier Edina employer. This employer is a subsidiary of a major global chemical company. Requirements: Impulse testing involves sliding elements into the testing vessels and watching the computer to see if they pass or not. -Moving the elements to the correct place depending on whether they pass or fail. - Packaging requires the loading of raw materials (45lbs) at a fast pace (the machine will package every 30 seconds). - Taking bags for the elements and laying them down on the table. - Loading cardboard onto a machine that puts the boxes together, and loading couplers (small tubes) onto the machines - Filling out paperwork. - Kelly employees (KE's) will also be operating the automated preset machines (APMs) for two cells. Operation of the APM's will involve putting a tube into a machine, waiting for sheets of tricoh to be welded onto the tube, and then hanging the tube onto a rack. KE's must pay close attention to the production order, and which grid is being used. This will allow the KE to know how many tubes to make and how many are still needed. - Kelly Employees will also be rotating through the material handling duties.
