The Business
Local Businesses Banking is a fundamental business stream within the Commonwealth Bank Group and supports a range of small to medium sized businesses across Australia. Our business has been proud to support our clients during not only the goodperiods but more recently, during challenging and turbulent economic times.
The Broker and Agency Specialist Sales (BASS) team is responsible for originating and executing the full range of financing needs of accredited broker and Alliance Partner sourced clients' financing.
The Role
The Alliance Partner Manager is responsible for generating new and existing sales opportunities for Alliance Partner Groups in the Queensland Portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Working closely with new and existing QLD Alliance Partner relationships to increase the percentage of members utilising Commonwealth Bank products and services in line with each respective member/customer benefit program.
- Contributing to the profitable growth in merchant and transaction banking market share through the origination of suitable leads and opportunities for the Bank.
- Contribute to the growth of revenue through the cross-sell of Bank products to New Clients sourced from Alliance Partner groups. Help ensure we deliver a superior service outcomes to Alliance Partner head office groups and their members.
- Take ownership and drive marketing campaigns and roll outs for both the Alliance Partner Plus Program and other key marketing programs for our Alliance Partner groups.
The Candidate
In order to be successful in this role the desired candidate will have:
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong relationship management, client contact and sales skills.
- Excellent customer facing skills (Interviews/Telephone Manner/Marketing).
- A good understanding of business banking products and systems.
- Good understanding of Merchant Products and related services.
- Strong leadership qualities and results driven.
- FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation
- Industry related tertiary qualifications (Marketing degree etc) are an advantage
