Allocation Accountant – London recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the back office areas in determining appropriate cost allocation methodologies, and facilitating their sign off.
- Develop and run a process supporting the regular review and sign off of allocation drivers.
- Modelling the financial impact of strategic business decision on the functional cost base, cost allocation drivers and subsequent front office charges.
- Monthly Allocation reporting.
- Ad hoc financial analysis, reporting and decision support.
Skills / Experience:
- Extensive cost reporting and analysis experience
- Extensive cost allocation experience in a global investment bank
- Cost decision support on back office support would be desirable
- Experience of cost management and reduction initiatives
Education:
- ACA qualified accountant or equivalent
Personal Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
- Strong leadership capabilities and personal drive
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and under pressure to tight deadlines
- Track record of fostering strong customer relationships through delivering on commitments
- Motivated and delivery focused
- Strong leadership qualities
