Hours 12-hour shift; 7:00 pm - 7:30 am, every other weekend Qualifications Intra-Unit Posting ~Position open to Current Sharp Grossmont NICU RNs BSN preferred Current California Registered Nurse Licensure required Current CPR certification required Current NRP certification required Certification and experience on PICC line and PAL ( PICC line, UAC, UVC) chest tubes, resuscitation required 2-years current NICU level 3 clinical nurse experience required Required skills on taking care of vented babies, 28 weeks and above Experience working with critical drips- Dopamine, Dobutamine, etc. required Good communication skills required Charge Nurse experience preferred Summary The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be an active member of NICU team transitioning the unit to level 3; shares her knowledge and expertise in making critical assessment/judgments as warranted, with her colleagues and promote the spirit of team work. The unit has upgraded the level of acuity to Level- 3A, taking care of 28 week gestation and above. This offers a lot of opportunity for growth in a various ways with the unit trying to transition to a higher level of care.
