Alternatives / Hedge Fund Administration – Senior Sales / Business Development & Relationship Manager recruitment
This opportunity provides the prospect to work for a well respected and successful global investment services firm that is still growing its business. The company has recently restructured its London team and created a new senior appointment to enhance their relationships and business with some key global accounts. By taking ownership of c10 key hedge fund administration accounts you'll own the higher / C level relationships here in Europe, with a view to ensuring the commercial relationship remains intact and growing revenue through the provision of more services. This is not a daily service management role, but senior commercial relationship management and sales orientated role aimed at maximising the service revenue potential from some of their biggest clients.
Appropriate professionals will have the following experience:
• Foremost we are looking for those with expert knowledge of the alternatives / hedge fund administration industry, with the ability to converse credibly at C level about the industry - really understanding the industry and business drivers etc. Ideally you will have worked for an alternatives administrator / fund services firm such as a State Street, Citco, HSBC, Northern Trust, SSC or GlobeOp etc etc. Besides Hedge Fund administration, experience in Private Equity administration would also be of significant interest due to a strategic push more into that market.
• Consultative and relationship builder by nature, with a track record of commercial success, be it through developing client accounts or new business sales.
• Customer focused and strong networking ability.
