Position Description:
SunGard's asset management solutions help institutional investors, hedge funds, private equity firms, fund administrators and securities transfer agents improve both investment decision-making and operational efficiency, while managing risk and increasing transparency. SunGard's solutions support every stage of the investment process, from research and portfolio management, to valuation, risk management, compliance, investment accounting, transfer agency and client reporting.
As part of the creation of a new Portfolio Management product offering, Asset Arena is currently looking for a Business Analyst.

The Business Analyst will define the product roadmap and should be the leader in terms of ideas to fit our customer needs and improve our revenue. This means doing some Market Intelligence survey, participating to complex presales, meeting customers and gathering their business requirements.

The Business Analyst is the link between the Business and the RD team and will be in charge of writing the Functional Specifications from the business requirement. As such, some good understanding of the technology is required.

The Business Analyst will also have a key role to:
• The Pre-Sales team: to ensure the Product knowledge transfer by providing them with Product presentations and demo scenarios.
• The Professional Services team (Pre Post implementation): to help them solving any functional issue.
• The QA team: by assisting them in the test case scenarios.

Position Requirements:
The candidate will have a strong knowledge in Asset Management (from both a business and technology perspective) with a minimum of 5 years experience in the same position for a Software Vendor or within a Tiers 1 Asset Management company.
Some understanding of the software design is also required.
Being part of a small team working with offshore development centers and launching a new product, the candidate will need:
• To be a strong team player and able to work independently.
• To have an excellent english level (oral communication writing skills) and fluency in French.
