AML Compliance Officer
Full Time, Position Home-Office Based, Munich, Berlin, Nordrhein Westfalen
The Role:
Reporting to the Compliance Manager who is based in Frankfurt, the AML Compliance Officers are responsible for providing AML Compliance support to their customers.
Your responsibilities:
• Provide AML support to agents to put necessary practices in place to ensure that they comply with anti-money laundering laws in Germany. Communicate to client’s any required action that needs to be taken in order to comply with AML/Compliance regulations.
• Follow up with agents concerning their implemented compliance procedures
• Build relationships with internal departments and work in a strong partnership with investigators.
• Continuously review controls and AML compliance programmes for agents/subagents through transaction analyses, compliance reviews and training sessions.
Your requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience in compliance, risk management or banking
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain concepts and provide presentations to large audiences (20 people at times)
• Knowledge of financial products and services is required along with an understanding of AML regulations within the banking/financial services industry
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory
• Strong interpersonal skills
