AML Compliance Officer recruitment

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

*  Review and evaluate internal controls and procedures for complying
with AML/KYC and OFAC regulations.
*  Review and revise policies and procedures applicable to AML/KYC
Compliance and conduct Risk Assessments;
* Perform anti-money laundering monitoring and testing;
*  Develop and implement appropriate internal controls to monitor
day-to-day compliance with all applicable Regulations and Guidelines.
*  Respond to inquiries from Front Office personnel and the New Account
Opening Team regarding appropriate CIP/KYC for clients providing high level guidance
*  Provide compliance support for audit and exam requests;
*  Collaborate with Front Office, Support Units, Head Office, and the
affiliated Bank's New York Branch to develop specific procedures to implement AML policy.
*  Design and conduct periodic AML and OFAC training.
*  Manage projects involving new business initiatives and coordinate
with the CCO and the Legal Department.
*  Perform other General Compliance duties and responsibilities as
assigned by Chief Compliance Officer.
 

EXPERIENCE:

* 5-12+ years of experience with USA PATRIOT Act, Bank Secrecy Act and/or AML regulations issued by U.S. Securities, Banking, Derivative and futures regulators. Some exposure to UK FSA and JMLSG guidelines and regulations preferred but not required.

* Strong knowledge of regulatory and internal control requirements, particularly in relation to AML laws (Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, etc.) and regulations.

*  Experience in a Global institution;

* Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong personality, confident, highly motivated and organized, team player, but able to operate under their own initiative.

SKILLS:

* Ability to execute projects and tasks accurately and on time

* Strong written and oral skills

* Ability to multi-task and juggle long term and short term goals effectively

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word are key to functioning effectively with the day-to-day tasks.

This position will be located in the New York Office.

The role is offering a base salary (commensurate w/ experience)
