AML Operations – Global Sanction Operations recruitment

To standardize, increase efficiency and effectiveness sanctions screening processes across Citi. This role will assist in the coordination screening activities among the different operations groups for each region, covering multiple business sector/countries, and conducting continued oversight of the groups responsible of sanction screening operations to ensure consistency and adequacy of screening mechanisms under sound internal control practices.

Key Responsibilities:
•Serve as the regional Subject Matter Expert for Sanctions Screening Operations and Match Verification Disposition using global standard application systems.
•Leads the implementation of the Standard Operating model across the region and gains stakeholder approvals.
•Coordinate regional implementation of sanctions screening operational processes to identify operational efficiencies and ensure consistency.
•Provide guidance on sanctions screening operations and serve as point of escalation to route emerging issues to Sanctions Compliance.
•Analyze and review changes to Case-Management functionality, assist in preparation/review of regional Business Requirement document (BRD).
•Define guidelines and training material for business operations entities dedicated to screening operations on screening techniques, and resolutions of alerts generated by the name screening process.
•Analyze Metrics and MIS reports generated by the Case Management process to identify opportunities to enhance the match verification Disposition process.
•Ensure regional operational readiness in support of the global Technology strategy (roadmap) for sanctions screening.
•Participates in business projects and new product implementations subject to sanctions screening.
•Develops and maintains positive relationships with key stake holders, Regional, and country Compliance, Operations and Technology.
•Provides analysis and advisory on control related issues, interacting with Audit in coordination with Sanctions Compliance.
•Interacts with the applicable Citi businesses in ensuring implementation of Global Sanctions Compliance directive and/or Audit remediation.
•Building and applying knowledge of Sanctions Screening processes.
