AML / STF Head of Assurance recruitment

As AML / STF Head of Assurance, you'll be responsible for using a risk based approach to set the annual AML/STF assurance programme for the division, and managing the execution of the programme through the activities of the Assurance team. You'll also be responsible for developing a robust AML and Sanctions assurance framework across the entirety of UK Corporate Banking, providing sufficient assurance over AML and Sanctions to enable the Chief Risk Officer, CBD and the Chief Executive Officer, CBD to certify the accuracy and effectiveness of AML and Sanctions controls in the division every six months as part of the Control Environment Certification.       

Naturally, as AML / STF Head of Assurance, you'll have previous experience in a senior assurance or wider AML role within a major global financial services firm, and expert knowledge of AML / STF risk issues and relevant regulatory / legislative landscapes. You'll also have experience of identifying, assessing and recommending mitigations for AML / STF business risks, interfacing with regulatory bodies, senior stakeholder management, and leading and managing a team.
