The ideal candidate will have specialties in:
- Analog IC Design (Delta-Sigma ADC, Pipelined ADC, Flash)
- Interface (I/O) circuits (High Speed)
- ESD and Latchup Prevention
- Power Management
- Silicon with MEMS
- PLL circuitry
Analog Design Engineer Responsibilities include:
- Design of Analog/RF circuits for Company's chips.
- Design, simulation, characterization.
- Architecture, design, mentor junior members.
- TIAs, Laser drivers, PLLs, modulator drivers upto 40GHz;Design of op-amps, LNAs, DACs and ADCs.
- Perform High Speed Analog Design of integrated circuits for 40/100G optical components.
- Design new products for development and market introduction.
- Drivers and Amplifiers may be designed utilizing III.
Analog Design Engineer Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree or a PhD preferred
- 10 years experience in the field.
- Must have experience with spectreRF, caliber, assura, SPICE
- Must understand basic function implementation and approaches for design optimization, transistor sizing and biasing tradeoffs, low power design, and high speed design.
- Basic system knowledge including system noise analysis, signal processing, modulation/de-modulation, and basic understanding of communications or similar "signal chain" systems is required.
- Working familiarity with semiconductor processing and modeling, along with the ability to characterize performance, take lab measurements, and analyze results are a must.
