Analysis Manager – Corporate Analysis – SAS / SPSS

Excellent first ‘Management’ opportunity within a dynamic, dedicated Corporate Analysis team for a leading online Insurance Company. As a key part of the Corporate Analysis team, you will drive business decisions through the innovative use, interpretation and understanding of data. You will guide/supervise Analysts on a project-by-project basis, checking accuracy of data manipulation and helping to interpret the results, and to communicate those results to internal customers who are key decision makers from across the business.

 

You will need a good first degree with substantial mathematical/statistical content, possibly supported by an MSc. You will have a proven track record in an analysis role gained in a commercial environment. You will be highly computer literate with in-depth knowledge of statistical software packages i.e. SAS, SPSS. Previous experience of EMBLEM, ResQ and/or @Risk would prove advantageous. You will have proven experience of applying multivariate techniques i.e. Regression (GLMs), Clustering, CHAID etc to business problems. Previous line management experience would be advantageous. A well organised and logical approach, with attention to detail and good communications skills are essential as is the ability to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of how the business works and performs.
