Analyst – Real Estate Restructuring – London recruitment
Our client is the real estate restructuring and work out arm of a global financial player as they continue to realise their assets they have identified the requirement to hire an Analyst to ensure the financial and operational performance of the portfolio is being accurately and consistently reported to the their real estate management team.
The Role's Prime responsibility is for ensuring the financial and operational performance of the portfolio is being accurately and consistently reported to the management and will entail:
- Ensuring the property portfolio is accurately reported from an operational and financial standpoint.
- Reporting financial and operational performance of the portfolio on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Assisting in the production of complex financial models and monthly management packs.
- Collating information prior to sale of the portfolio and on-going and complete and accurate reporting of current status of portfolio.
- Reviewing, challenging, reconciling and auditing monthly financial results provided by property managers.
- Ensuring the portfolio is accurately mapped and assisting with the transfer of the property information database onto a global extranet system.
- Conduct monthly management accounts reviews with sector heads.
The Person will demonstrate sector specific experience of financial analysis including cashflow forecasting and valuation, possess the ability to identify risk and opportunities to add value and have a proven track record of modelling financial information using Microsoft Excel and have achieved or working toward professional accounting qualifications and have a good understanding of financial statements. Additionally solid inter-personal skills are sort and the ability to establish robust relationships both internally and externally. Real estate experience is strongly preferred.
