ANALYST – REGULATORY REPORTING recruitment
The successful candidate will assist with all mandatory Regulatory Disclosure reporting on Client Funds. They will also assist with all mandatory Trade Reporting to the FSA.
Core Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Disclosures.
- Making all relevant disclosures within prescribed timelines.
- Assisting Senior Analyst in keeping current a statement of the Company’s consolidated policies on all mandatory disclosures to regulators, investor companies and other parties as from time to time advised by the Chief Risk Officer.
- Assisting Senior Analyst in developing and maintaining all database and other systems required to support this activity.
- TRUP Reporting.
- Ensuring the daily trade reporting to the FSA is uploaded within required timelines and any errors corrected promptly.
- Where appropriate to deputise for the Senior Analyst of the function.
- To maintain a control and compliance culture.
- To develop and maintain procedures for the function.
- To carry out all routines as prescribed in the procedures.
- To assist Senior Analyst develop and maintain a comprehensive set of controls throughout the function to ensure that all services are delivered in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
- To maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends, practices and initiatives relevant to the function.
- To participate fully in ensuring all relevant corporate and departmental housekeeping disciplines are maintained, including:
- Maintaining and using key performance indicators.
Core Skills:
- Deadline driven.
- Analytical.
- Accurate.
- Ability to pick up processes quickly.
Core Requirements:
- Investment operations, including some of the following : custody, dealing, trade processing, corporate actions, instrument types and markets, compliance.
- Obtained or working towards Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) or similar qualification.
- Relevant regulation and legislation, particularly in respect of disclosures would be an advantage but not compulsory as training will be provided.
