Analyst 2 or 3 – Consumer/Retail – M&A/Private Equity recruitment
A boutique investment bank who specialise in providing advice to large corporates on MA as well as directly investing in companies with their own capital are looking to hire an Analyst 2 or 3 into their London business with specific transaction experience in the consumer and retail space. The bank has worked on some landmark transactions over the last 12 months and have a similar pipeline for the next 12 months, offering a high degree of client exposure.
The bank works on transactions valued between £200m and £1bn with large cap multinational corporates and private equity funds across Europe, US, Middle East and Asia. Their deals are highly cross border in nature and highly complex.
The consumer / retail team in London is led by an excellent senior team with in-depth knowledge and relationships with companies across the consumer / retail sub sectors including luxury goods, retail, beverages, food retail, tobacco etc.
The unique structure of the team means that candidates will get fantastic deal exposure seeing the 360 deal cycle from initial client pitch through to SPA negotiations. You will also work directly with MD and take an active part in meeting clients and CEOs of the worlds leading companies in the consumer and retail space.
Candidate Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of MA/investment banking experience gained from a bulge bracket investment bank, leading boutique or blue chip private equity fund.
- Client-facing, good communicator, confident, well-presented and fluent in English.
- Knowledge of the consumer / retail investment banking space, ideally would have worked in the sector previously and will have completed deals in this space.
- Can produce IMs, financial valuations using DCF, LBO and merger models in excel.
- Candidates will have the right to work in the EU.
