Role

Wood Mackenzie’s Fiscal Service is a web-based research offering that allows our clients to understand and compare the upstream petroleum fiscal arrangements in over 150 countries.  We are seeking an analyst to assume an integral role in the production and development of this new service.

Main Responsibilities

The core of the Fiscal Service is a database of 7 million elements, calculated through Wood Mackenzie’s Global Economic Model (GEM) application, which serve to describe the outcomes for investors, governments, and national oil companies under a variety of scenarios.  The Fiscal Service employs Spotfire as the visualization mechanism.

Developmental opportunities include extensive client interaction, presenting/teaching fiscal subject matter, and publishing analytical articles.
