Position Summary:
T-Mobile USA is a leading provider of digital Global System for Mobile Communications/General Packet Radio Service (GSM/GPRS) wireless voice and data technology standards. Analysts 4, Enterprise Test will provide technical leadership to the team responsible for Quality Assurance (QA) and testing of our SAP Supply Chain organization (SAP SD, MM and CRM).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach Quality Assurance (QA) test analysts in our Supply Chain Order Fulfillment on SAP SD module through project testing lifecycles, including testing, go-live and post-implementation support. Sales and Distribution (SD): Sales, Delivery, and Billing, and downstream into FI.
- Assist with test planning estimates based on project scope.
- Create and review functional test cases utilizing Business Process Testing (BPT) methodology in HP Quality Center.
- Perform quantitative analysis; plan, coordinate and implement QA methodology; analyze business requirements; and create traceability matrices to map test cases in HP Quality Center.
- Leverage test automation using automated tools such as Quick Test professional, WinRunner, Test Accelerator and Optimizer (TAO) and HP Quality Center for test execution and defect tracking.
- Create test plan documents and test project plans, ensure environment readiness and create the test data.
- Consolidate test environments and ensure interface connectivity by performing environment shakeout, work with an Onsite/Offshore testing model, provide training, and create knowledge transfer documentation.
- Work with Business Analysts to validate actual test results against expected results.
- Responsible for project metrics and compliance.
- Identify and test key business process scenarios within Supply Chain forecasting, along with managing defects by analyzing root causes and initiating resolution processes.
- Understand and adhere to test planning and execution guidelines, processes and standards against defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize test automation tools for test planning and execution.
- Provide daily test execution statuses and escalate issues and risks to test management.
- Interact with and provide test status updates to Senior Management.
- Generate test results from HP Quality Center and document the detailed Test Exit report.
- This position requires 24/7 on call availability.
- Good verbal and written communications skills.

Functional and technical skills:
- Experience leading and coaching QA testers for SAP Supply Chain through project testing lifecycles, including testing, go-live and post-implementation support.
- Preferred experience utilizing test automation tools (HP QTP, Winrunner, and SAP TAO) for test planning and execution.
- Experience performing quantitative analysis; planning, coordinating and implementing QA methodology; analyzing business requirements; and creating traceability matrices to map test cases in HP Quality Center.
- Experience consolidating test environments and ensuring interface connectivity by performing environment shakeout, working with an Onsite/Offshore testing model, providing training, and creating knowledge transfer documentation.
- Experience identifying and testing key business process scenarios within SAP SD, MM or CRM, along with managing defects by analyzing root causes and initiating resolution processes.
- Experience with SAP APO or JDA can substitute SAP SD, MM or CRM experience.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering or a related field or the foreign equivalent and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- In the alternative, will accept 7 total years of relevant work experience and no degree.
