This is an exciting, full time, permanent role based in Melbourne for an ICP Analyst with experience in a a wide variety of analytical disciplines. My client are a TGA licensed laboratory and are looking for an additional permanent member staff within their laboratory based in the Inner Melbourne suburbs. The role is non routine and would suit a candidate with a wide variety of industrial experience.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of a variety of samples including gas, liquid and solids
• Non-routine testing using ICP-MS and ICP-OES, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) and wet chemistry techniques including assays and titrations.
• Method development of techniques
• Validation

Requirements

• Industrial experience of ICP-MS and ICP-OES and a wide variety of matrices
• Experience in a similar role in industry.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• A degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
