The Analyst role is based in Singapore and reports to the Head of Southeast Asia Economics. ANZ research places a high weight on robust, rigorous, thematic research and the successful applicant is expected to fit into this business model. The position therefore requires solid quantitative, analytical and English drafting skills, the ability to work under tight, market-driven deadlines as well as to collaborate with the rest of the team. Familiarity with any of Asia's key geographies or strategic sectors is a plus.
This role has a career development opportunity to move in to Economist in the futre. The successful candidate will ideally have a degree in economics (preferably a Masters or equivalent) as well as some experience in the financial markets.
