Analyst / Associate, M&A recruitment
Gryphon Partners, a member of Standard Chartered Group, is a leading corporate advisory firm focussing on providing the resource sector with expert advice in the areas of takeovers, mergers, acquisitions and asset disposals. With over 20 professionals in offices in Australia and Canada, Gryphon Partners is seeking to employ an additional Senior Analyst and/or Associate to join our dynamic team based in our Adelaide office.
Responsibilities will involve researching transaction opportunities and assistance with preparing proposals; financial modelling and evaluation of transactions; preparation of information memorandums and data rooms; and report writing. Working in a small team, the role will involve significant high level internal and client contact.
The successful candidate will have an impressive academic record with a finance related or legal degree. Applicants must have one to four years experience in investment banking (or other MA role) ideally with some exposure to the resources sector. Applicants with no direct MA experience will not be considered. You will be highly analytical, with strong financial analysis, report writing and presentation skills, and advanced Excel skills. A highly motivated self-starter, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be prepared to travel.
